Early spring hikes or traditional Törggelen nights in fall – the warm season lasts especially long here in Scena/Schenna near Merano/Meran thanks to the region’s favorable climate, and the protected, sunny location.
One of the most popular activities in Merano/Meran is hiking. The hiking resort of Scena/Schenna includes a total of more than 200 km of marked hiking trails. If you don’t feel like climbing, a number of cable cars will take you up to the start of the walks.
The Giogaia di Tessa/Texelgruppe Nature Park boasts many romantic Alpine lakes and peaks which offer incredible views of the area. This is a great place for mountaineering, hiking, mountain biking, paragliding and many other activities.
